1. What InstantMMO is

InstantMMO builds a small online game world from a description you write, hosts it, and gives you a link that other people can use to play it. The service is in closed beta: it may change, break, or be unavailable, and worlds and characters may be reset.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use InstantMMO, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.

3. What you may ask for

Worlds are played by the public. Do not ask for, and do not use the service to create or share, content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, that depicts real people, that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark, or that is unlawful. We may refuse to build a world, change it, or remove it, and may close accounts that break these rules.

4. Who owns what

The description you write is yours. You may use the world built from it on InstantMMO, share its link and show it to others. The game engine, the art, the sound and the website remain ours or our licensors'. You give us permission to store, run, display and adapt your description and your world as needed to operate the service and to show examples of what it can do.

5. Building allowance and payments

Each account includes an allowance for building and changing worlds. When it is used up, building stops until more is added. During the closed beta nothing is charged. If paid plans are introduced, their prices and what they include will be shown before you buy anything.

6. Players in your world

Anyone with your world's link can play it. Players choose a character name and password; their characters are stored with the world. You are responsible for who you share the link with. Chat and character names must follow the rules in section 3.

7. Availability

Worlds switch off when nobody is playing and start again when someone opens the link. We may limit the number of players, the size of worlds, and how long unused worlds are kept. A world you delete stops working for everyone.

8. No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost worlds, lost characters, or indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
